Sustainable Ventures is proud to announce the great success of its exclusive investor event held in Manchester on February 13th, 2025.
Hosted at the Renold Building, within the newly established innovation district, Sister Manchester, the event marked a significant milestone in our mission to drive climate tech innovation and create long-term value.
The Manchester Investor event brought together a vibrant community of investors, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders, all passionate about fostering sustainable growth and tackling climate change.
Attendees had the opportunity to learn about Sustainable Ventures' latest initiatives, including the launch of two new Sustainability Impact funds: the Sustainable Ventures SEIS Impact Fund and the Sustainable Ventures EIS Impact Fund.
These funds aim to support early-stage climate tech start-ups with tailored programmes, mentorship, and access to funding. The new funds continue the legacy of the seven previous Sustainable Ventures’ cohorts, which have successfully supported early-stage climate-tech startups, helping them to create scalable solutions for global sustainability challenges, with a focus on delivering measurable environmental impact.
The event highlighted Sustainable Ventures' commitment to empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs by focusing on high-growth, scalable business models and innovative technologies that combat resource scarcity and climate change. The evening also provided a platform for engaging conversations, networking opportunities, and a shared vision for a sustainable future.
Looking Ahead to Edinburgh
Following the success of the Manchester event, Sustainable Ventures is now eagerly preparing for its next exclusive investor event in Edinburgh. The event will take place at 6 PM on February 25th, 2025, at the prestigious Royal Society of Edinburgh.
This upcoming event will once again showcase the Sustainable Ventures SEIS and EIS Impact Funds, offering investors a tax-efficient investment structure while contributing to the development of groundbreaking climate tech start-ups. Attendees will have the chance to meet the Sustainable Ventures team, connect with inspiring entrepreneurs, and explore the exciting plans for 2025.
Since 2011, Sustainable Ventures has built one of Europe’s largest climate-tech ecosystems, supporting over 800 sustainability startups through workspace provision, tailored support and investment. Its mission is to empower entrepreneurs to create scalable solutions for global sustainability challenges, with a focus on delivering measurable environmental impact and strong financial returns.
